Training Huddles are where we learn how to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did.
Huddles are groups of three to six people that meet for ten to twelve weeks of training. Our Huddles run from September to November and February to May.
Most of our fall Training Huddles are full, but the following two still have open spots. Let us know if you're interested in hearing more about them or want to join them.
This class is an in-depth study of the book of Galatians facilitated by Elissa Stanton and Matt Tolander. In Phase 1, you will gain advanced Bible study skills and familiarity with the cultural, historical, and religious background of the book of Galatians and its author, the Apostle Paul. Then, in Phase 2, you will apply your new knowledge as we study the book of Galatians, discussing its major themes and conspiring together to apply its truth to our lives.
Led by Matt Tolander and Elissa Stanton - Sundays 8:30 AM in the conference room
Our emotional health forms a ceiling for our spiritual maturity. When we fail to take our emotional health into account in our spiritual lives, we end up stuck and frustrated. Jesus was the most emotionally healthy person to have ever lived. To become like him we must abide in him. In this huddle, we will use Pete Scazerro's acclaimed book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality as a guide as we learn skills and practices for emotionally integrated spiritual formation.
Led by Kristen Tolander - Sundays, 8:30 AM in the living room - ** Women only
